Bahrain and Hong Kong sign double taxation agreement
It aims to eliminate double taxation on income taxes and prevent tax evasion and avoidance.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain Kingdom has ratified and issued Law (7) of 2025, approving an agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.
Signed in Manama on March 3, 2024, it was ratified following its approval by the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives, and is now officially attached to the law.
The Prime Minister and relevant ministers are tasked with implementing the provisions of this law.
