UAE companies target Al Rawdah Economic Zone

Firms from logistics, manufacturing and packaging sectors consider investments in the new industrial hub.

A group of leading UAE-based companies has signed letters of intent to explore investment opportunities in Oman’s newly announced Al Rawdah Special Economic Zone, an industrial and logistics hub near the Oman-UAE border. The companies, many of which operate from Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), represent diverse sectors including logistics, manufacturing, steel fabrication, and packaging.

The participating companies include Al Bayader, a sustainable food packaging manufacturer; Apparel Group, a retail operator managing over 80 fashion brands; Camtech Manufacturing, an industrial valve producer; Conares, one of the region’s largest private steel manufacturers; Indu Kishore Logistic, a freight forwarding specialist; Kimoha Entrepreneurs, a provider of packaging and RFID solutions; NAFFCO, a global leader in fire safety solutions; New East, a distributor of automotive spare parts; Oriental General Trading, a diversified trading firm; Palmon Group, a developer of industrial and logistics facilities; Technical Resources, a supplier of high-tech generators and industrial pumps; and Spinneys, a food manufacturer and distributor.
